About the parish
Our parish in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was opened with the blessing of Metropolitan John of Dubna for the purpose of spiritual care of Orthodox believers of all nationalities living in the province of Cádiz, Spain. Our parish strives to create a vibrant and friendly Orthodox community, in which everyone can find spiritual support and joy in Christ.
The first liturgy was held on 03.01.2026, on the Sunday before Christmas. Currently, services are held on Sundays at 10:45, as well as on feast days. The main language of the services is Church Slavonic, but some parts of the services are conducted in Ukrainian, Spanish, and English.
Canonically, we belong to the Archdiocese of Orthodox Churches of Russian Tradition in Western Europe — a diocese with special status within the Moscow Patriarchate. The rector of the parish is Priest Mikhail Zaporozhets.
How to find us?
By agreement with the Catholic Church, services are temporarily held in the chapel of the Catholic church at the address: Pl. San Antonio 1, 11001 Cádiz.
It is necessary to enter the church — turn right into the corridor — the first door on the right (instructions in the photo).
